Introducing the Mentor Group at Political Science, Copenhagen
We would like to welcome you to the Institute of Political Science at the University of Copenhagen and introduce you to the Mentor Group.
The Mentor Group provides the link between the international students and the Danish students at the Political Science Department. Each international student has the option to become assigned to a "personal" mentor to help with practicalities in connection with the arrival and during the stay. Furthermore the Mentor Group arranges a whole variety of activities each semester, ranging from a welcome party, trips to Tivoli, a pub crawl, visits to museums, the Royal Theatre and the Danish Parliament. The idea is to establish contact between the international students and the Danish students which will both broaden their horizon and expand their network. It can be a very enriching experience to meet and get to know a student from a different culture.
The Mentor Group is organised on a completely voluntary basis. Most activities are free of charge or can be purchased at reduced rates because the Institute of Political Science sponsors and supports the Mentor Group's activities.
Information regarding the activities of the Mentor Group can be found if you join the Facebook group "International student at Polsci, Copenhagen? Yes, sir!".
We hope that you will enjoy your stay.
