Information for Visiting Ph.D. students

Ph.D. students enrolled in Ph.D. programs at other universities may apply to spend time in the Department of Political Science.

Applications should include a CV, a description of the Ph.D. project; and a letter stating the reasons for choosing the Department, including whether a contact to one or more of the Department's professors has already been made, and the arrival and departure dates. The Department receives more applications than it can accommodate, and it is therefore essential that the reasons given for choosing University of Copenhagen are made explicit.

Applications should be addressed to the Director of Graduate Studies, Kasper Møller Hansen, email: kmh@ifs.ku.dk. There is no application deadline and applications are assessed by the Director of Graduate Studies and the Head of Department, Lars Bille.

The Department may be able to offer shared office space during 2011. The Department does not offer financial support for visiting Ph.D. students, nor does it arrange accommodation.
