Unesco Niels Bohr Gold Medal Award Ceremony
5 December, 2013 at the conference "An Open World", organized by University of Copenhagen, UNESCO Niels Bohr Gold Medals were awarded to;
- Jimmy Wales, Wikipedia
- CERN (Rolf-Dieter Heuer)
- Alain Aspect, physicist
The ceremony was presented by Jens-Jørgen Gaardhøje, Niels Bohr Institute, University of Copenhagen, and the medals were presented by Deputy Director-General of UNESCO, Getachew Engida, and HRM Princess Marie of Denmark.
